We are thrilled to announce the addition of two new staff members to the DAWN Canada team.

In January of this year, Maggie Lyons-MacFarlane (they/she) joined DAWN as the new Research and Communications Coordinator. An activist in the cross-disability community, Maggie has volunteered for more than six years with the National Educational Association of Disabled Students.

Additionally, Valérie Grand'Maison (she/her) joins DAWN in April as Manager and Senior Research Associate. A researcher, activist and mother, Valérie is a PhD candidate in Sociology at the University of Guelph whose research takes an intersectional feminist approach and focus on gender-based violence.

We warmly welcome these two talented individuals to DAWN and the knowledge, expertise and lived experiences that they bring to our accomplished team.
