The DisAbled Womens Network Réseau daction des femmes handicapées du Canada (DAWN-RAFH Canada) will be hosting its Annual General Meeting:

CALL FOR NEW BOARD MEMBERS/NOMINATIONS: In accordance with its bylaws, DAWN-RAFH Canada is seeking Board of Director Representatives from: Quebec (1), New Brunswick (1) Ontario (1) British Columbia (1) New-foundland (1), Northwest Territories and (1) Nunavut (1).
HOW TO APPLY TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS: If you would like to seek election as a Board Director, please send the information listed below:
- Paragraph of a maximum of 500 words to be published on the web site about why you want to seek election to the DAWN-RAFH Canada Board of Directors (required)
- A biography of your life experience or resume about yourself (required)
- A photo (optional)
Applications for those seeking nominations must be received at the DAWN-RAFH Canada Head Office by no later than Friday February 28th, 2014 at the close of business (5:00 p.m. Eastern time) and can be transmitted by regular mail, email or facsimile to the National Head Office.

Should there be more than one nomination for any position on the Board, a sec-ond mailing will be sent out to all voting members with the ballots, mail-in in-structions and final details for participation by TELECONFERENCE/WEB. Election results will be announced at the AGM and posted on our website.
PARTICIPATION: Please confirm your participation by no later than Monday, March 10, 2014 at the close of business (5:00 p.m. Eastern time). In order to vote at the AGM you must be a member in good standing as of February 28, 2014. If you are not a member you may not vote but you are welcome to attend as an observer.
