Today, we stand in solidarity with all the Indigenous women of the Kanien’kehá:ka lands and all the territories now occupied by settlers.  We are now in a time of truth and reconciliation with Indigenous peoplest.  Today we mark a minute of silence for all Indigenous people. Today we also remember our board member Sister Judi Johnny and our disAbled Indigenous Sisters, many of whom have lived (and died) with the unidentified but evident markers of disability acquired through violence.
