DAWN-RAFH Canada is proud to celebrate the International Day of the Girl

Today we celebrate Girls with Disabilities and Deaf Girls here in Canada and around the world who deserve to be free from violence and poverty and forced sterilization! Girls with disabilities want equal access to social justice, education, healthcare and employment.

The Working Group on Girls developed a Girls with Differing Abilities Fact Sheet resource that outlines barriers and the violence that girls with disabilities and Deaf girls are faced with.
