A Bold Vision Conference Visionary Announcement

It has just been announced that Bonnie Brayton, DisAbled Women’s Network – Réseau d’Action des Femmes Handicapées Canada’s National Executive Director, has been chosen as one of 23 women selected as visionaries for the A Bold Vision Women’s Leadership Conference in P.E.I in September 2014!

About A Bold Vision:

2014 is a historic year on Prince Edward Island, a year that marks the 150th anniversary of the Charlottetown Conference, and the resulting vision that led to the formation of Canada. The Charlottetown Conference was a meeting that enabled 23 men to create a bold vision, form relationships and begin conversations about what our country could be.

A coalition of women’s organizations in Prince Edward Island has come together, with support from PEI 2014 Inc., to commemorate the Charlottetown Conference and celebrate the vital role women played and will continue to play in the advancement of our country. And recognize that in 2014 women hold many leadership roles in all sectors of our society.

Through the project we want to know, what do 23 women envision for our country for the next 150 years?

To do this, A Bold Vision will bring together women from across Canada to celebrate Canadian women leaders, create an opportunity for women to be visionaries, to learn from one another and create A Bold Vision for the next 150 years. For more information: : A Bold Vision website. Open in new window.
