On International Women’s Day, DAWN Canada Board member Caitlin Salvino receives a Governor General's Award in Commemoration of the Persons Case
During a virtual ceremony on International Women’s Day on March 8, 2022, DAWN Canada Board member Caitlin Salvino was presented with a Governor General's Award in Commemoration of the Persons Case by the Honourable Marci Ien, Minister for Women and Gender Equality and Youth.
These awards recognize Canadians who have made outstanding contributions to the advancement of gender equality. They were created in 1979 to mark the 50th anniversary of the groundbreaking Persons Case.
