In this document, DAWN Canada expresses concern over the lack of consultation and the rapid passage of legislation through Parliament, noting that the protective principles outlined in the Preamble are not reflected in the body of the legislation. They stress the need for measures addressing intersectional barriers faced by women with disabilities and urge compliance with Article 6 of the CRPD.
